Our origins

A collaboration established in 2008

KLASS BANK's company history begins with the collaboration of five ventures: The Klass Corporations, Klass Investments, Klass Capital Ventures, Klass Borse Markt and Klass International Business Association.

Franklin Erhmann Armah Sharp founded KLASS BANK and remains a controlling shareholder and President of the bank. The venture brought together African roots and business relationships in Germany, with Victoria, British Columbia, subsequently becoming its headquarters.

This founding history is distinct from the current leadership: Gerd Stieler serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

Four perspectives on banking

Personal banking

Everyday money, saving goals, borrowing and home financing form the starting points for personal banking conversations. Digital access connects existing customers with their account services.

Small business

Business accounts, incoming and outgoing payments, financing needs and plans for growth bring the operating needs of a business into one conversation.

Wealth management

Long-term priorities, investment decisions and family succession require a view of the client's circumstances and the terms of each service.

Businesses and institutions

Organisational relationships bring together cash-flow requirements, payment operations, capital planning and sector considerations.

Company and financial context

Management estimates prepared in August 2026 put assets at USD 460 billion as of August 2026 and Q3 2026 revenue at USD 8.22 billion. These are estimates, not audited results. The financial information page sets out the dates and indicative currency comparisons.

Access to the right service

Company information and public planning tools sit alongside separate access to authenticated banking, document authentication, instrument verification and payment tracking. Confidential account matters belong in the authenticated service or the established customer-support channel.

Availability, eligibility, fees and contractual terms are determined by the relevant service documentation.
